Motto: A Little Place With A Lot Of Heart
I had the opportunity to tour the new Motto by Hilton this week in downtown Bentonville - our new neighbors a few doors down the street from our Engel & Völkers Bentonville shop.

The property - directly across from The Ledger - is billed as a launchpad for biking and the best of Bentonville. It is one of a handful of this boutique Hilton brand, mostly found in spots like NYC and DC.
It is a stunner, and just may become my favorite new hangout. Here are a few highlights:
- Kohii: a gorgeous Onyx coffee shop with external walk-up window
- Urban chic rooms with a small footprint and unique features (such as a hydraulic powered bed that hides to reveal a sitting room!)
- Junto: an elevated sushi restaurant experience by award-winning Charleston-based Indigo Road group (reservations recommended)
- Art throughout the property curated by Oz Art
- Bar Kapu: an island-inspired "backyard" bar with alley access, fire pits, and rumored future hula hoop contests
- The commons: a lobby area lush with plants, records and co-working space
- Bike valet, tours, excursions & services by 37 North Expeditions
- Gorgeous woodwork commissioned by local Arkansas millworkers
- A different twist on the average lobby bar: whiskey and sake themed cocktails made up of 6+ elements (rather than just alcohol + mixer)
- Bold, highly custom 3D printed wallpaper unique to every floor and elevator landing
- Rentable group spaces, from Bar Kapu to Junto and a unique soft-seating area in the commons with leather banquette and record player
- Four floors of adjoined "link" rooms in sets of 2, 3 or 4 to create distinct group suites and spaces
- True blackout curtains and double insulation to create a cocoon for deep sleep (or deep work)
The hotel and dining concepts open Friday, August 30 and are booking through fall, and numerous groups and conventions (including the Arkansas Governor's Conference on Tourism in February 2025) are already booked.
Check out a few photos below and plenty more over on Instagram (the hotel website does not do it justice).
Want to check it out? Let's go grab a coffee or sake cocktail - I'll walk down and meet you! 🍶
