Why You Need An Enneagram 7 (Enthusiast & Connector) In Real Estate
If we've crossed paths, you probably know that I am a huge fan of the Enneagram.
Most working professionals have done their share of Myers-Briggs, DiSC, Strengthsfinder and so forth across their career journey.
The Enneagram really speaks to me because it's simple and easy to remember and speaks to how we can understand ourselves and work well with others.
Spoiler: I'm an Enneagram 7: the Enthusiast and Connector.
This means I've got boundless energy and I'm exuberant, upbeat, optimistic, curious, bold, fast-moving, versatile... and I've never met a stranger.
In a nutshell, the Enneagram Institute says that Sevens:
- Have a quality best described by the Yiddish word “chutzpah."
- Tend to be extremely practical and engaged in a multitude of projects at once.
- Are prone to anticipatory thinking: foresee events
- Generate ideas on the fly
- Move rapidly from one idea to the next
- Are gifted at brainstorming and synthesizing information
Turns out that's an excellent fit for real estate!
Why should you care how I'm wired?
There are around 4,000 real estate agents in northwest Arkansas. Many have been doing it for years, and a huge number do it part time.
When I made the leap into this industry, I brought years of running a marketing agency, thinking on my feet and building relationships in this community.
I work fast, make things happen, communicate well... and have a knack for calmly and confidently coaching my clients through the overwhelm.
